The Girl with Dreams

Aparna's journey in life has been deeply shaped by the wisdom and values instilled in her by her loving family. Being raised in a joint family, she was wrapped up by tons of love and support from her parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Despite being the eldest daughter, she was always encouraged to spread her wings and soar to new heights - a privilege not always afforded to young girls during that time.

A Myriad of Lessons and Experiences

Aparna's upbringing was marked by countless learning experiences, each imparting a unique and invaluable piece of knowledge. She grew up as a happy, carefree child - unburdened by fear or worry, but deeply respectful of others and dedicated to living a life of dignity and purpose.

She developed a strong love of reading from her mother and grandmother, who also instilled in her the value of education and intellectual curiosity.

In a charming display of curiosity and a deep love for reading, her grandmother immersed herself in newspapers, constantly seeking to stay updated and inspiring Aparna and those around her with her knowledge and wisdom.

Her father emphasized the significance of a healthy and balanced diet, instilling lifelong habits that have served her well. Perhaps most significantly, Aparna's grandfather - her "Dadu" - taught her the immeasurable value of play. Together, they spent countless hours enjoying outdoor games and adventures, forging memories that have lasted a lifetime.

Her mother was also a teacher and Aparna would see her managing home and work effortlessly. She even started a Montessori school to support her family financially. It’s because of her, Aparna learned how to multitask in life and take care of everything.

A Supportive Family

Aparna feels she has been very lucky to have in-laws who have always supported her. They are also a big believer in healthy food and so they have stood like a pillar for her in her mission to make India healthy.

Her father-in-law is very proud of her and adores her a lot. She has learned to have a positive balance, stay grounded, and not be carried by fame from him. Aparna acknowledges her sister, Ankita Shinde, and her brother, Harshit Shah, and with deep gratitude for the unwavering support they've extended to her.

She is also a proud mother of 2 young boys who support their mother in her work pursuits also. Aparna feels blessed to have kids who are understanding and humble, the way she wanted them to be.
